The more content you add, the more keywords you’ll have at your disposal and you’ll increase your chances of getting higher up in the rankings. Every day you post you’ll be able to have those new pages indexed so it becomes easier for new customers to find you. After a few weeks of publishing your new blog you should notice that your traffic picks up as a result of your new search engine rankings and listings.

A corporate blog allows you to build a relationship with your customers. They’ll see that there really are people behind the façade. If you properly manage your blog, it is a powerful tool that can really engender a whole new level of trust with your customers. They will see you as a trusted resource and be much more likely to spend more time at your site and to buy more of your products.

We at Mahindra&Mahindra have recently started a corporate blog http://www.mahindrauniverse.com around the 4 themes globalization, customer centricity, sustainability and innovation. We hope this will increase transparency between our customers and us. However we are still working towards increasing awareness of our blog. Do you have tips on that??

@Priyanka

I took a quick look at your blog… You are doing a few things I would change… Mainly…

Post more often… Blogging is a full time job for a mid level person… and 90% is content creation. We recommend to our clients that the post 5/6 times a week (once a day) and AT LEAST 3 times a week (M/Tu/Th). I didn’t look at your SEO, but that is something that can almost always be improved.

Give it time… Unless you website is already setting the world on fire adding a blog can take 6-18 months to show it’s full potential… Don’t give up, keep posting.

If running the blog is too much or not allowing key employees to focus on the true mission of the company consider outsourcing your entire blog operation to us…

We are experienced in content generation and blog management. We can run your corporate blog from start to finish and would be happy to provide a custom quote.
